Our Summer Course Innovation & Communication at Hochschule der Medien is a great way for you to learn more about both Innovation Management and Corporate Communications during a fun, international two week experience in Stuttgart. This is the perfect opportunity for students who want to gain intercultural competences and new knowledge in a dynamic, ever-changing field, all in one compact program!

You’ll join courses with students from countries all over the world, enjoy lectures from international professors and experts and will have plenty of opportunities to explore Stuttgart and German culture in your free time, too. Don’t miss out on a spring you will never forget!

Course Contents:

The lectures that are part of our spring course will cover the following areas:

  • Corporate Design
  • Storytelling
  • Media Ethics
  • Web Analytics
  • Political Communication
  • Content Strategy

Our lecturers and guest lecturers are experts in their respective fields who will also teach you how to directly apply your new knowledge in the work context to help you get your professional career started. Lecturers from Hochschule der Medien announced thus far: Harald Eichsteller, Gabrielle Kille, Michael Müller, Jürgen Seitz, Petra Grimm, Tobias Blask, Klaus Kamps and Katrin Hassenstein. We’ll also invite further international guests lecturerers to join our sessions to provide a multinational angle.

 

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES PROGRAM

Apart from interesting and enriching lectures, we’ll also organize a range of social activities for the participants of our summer course. This will enable you to get to know your fellow classmates even better while interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

And of course, you’ll also get to discover the city of Stuttgart while you’re staying with us. Stuttgart, Germany’s sixth largest city and home to about 600,000 people, has a lot to offer and is one of the most attractive places to live, work and study in South Western Germany. Through our social activities, such as guided tours, pub crawls and others, we’ll make sure to proof that to you while you’re participating in our spring course – so be prepared for an unforgettable experience!

TARGET GROUP

Our Spring Course Innovation & Communication is aimed at business and communications students on an upper undergraduate level as well at graduate students in the above mentioned fields. COST

There are no tuition fees for students from Hochschule der Medien and from our partner institutions. However, you’ll have to come up for your accomodation cost (cf. below) and the cost for material and social activities. We estimate overall expenses of XXX Euro for the duration of the course.

ACCOMODATION

Participants of the Spring Course at Hochschule der Medien have various options for their accommodation during the course. You can either choose to stay in a host family (at the house of university employees), in a student residence provided by Studierendenwerk Stuttgart or book a room in a hotel.
